Bako Sahakyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of South Ossetia

On 20 September President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov on the occasion of Independence Day. As the Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President informs, the message states:
"Honorable Anatoly Ilya,
On behalf of the people of Artsakh, the authorities and myself I cordially congratulate you and the brotherly people of South Ossetia on Independence Day.
September 20, 1990 was a turning point in the ancient history of Ossetia. The people of South Ossetia adopted an important decision and proclaimed the independence of their homeland, expressing willingness to predetermine their destiny independently.
During those years, the Republic of South Ossetia has passed a thorny but glorious way, standing up for the sake of protecting its independent statehood, honor and dignity.
Today, brotherly South Ossetia is a developed and dynamically developing state that is confidently looking at the future. We are sincerely happy for all the achievements and successes of our friendly state.
Once again, I congratulate you, dear Anatoly Ilya, and wish you and all the people of South Ossetia - Alania peace, happiness, new successes and achievements. "
