PAP and People's Party submit electoral lists of their
candidates for Yerevan Council of Elders to CEC

YEREVAN, MARCH 20, NOYAN TAPAN. "Prosperous Armenia" Party
(PAP) and the People's Party on March 20 submitted the documents
necessary for registration on the electoral list of candidates
for Yerevan Council of Elders. The documents were submitted to
the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia with the aim
of running in the May 31 elections of Yerevan Council of Elders,
NT was informed spokeswoman for CEC Tatev Ohanian.
122 citizens have been included in PAP's electoral list
which is led by RA minister of health Harutyun Kushkian. Number
2 on the list is National Assembly deputy, chairman of the NA
Standing Committee of Human Rights Defence and Public Issues
Mkhitar Mnatsakanian, and number 3 is lecturer of Yerevan State
University's Department of Biology Margarita Matevosian.
20 persons have been included in the electoral list of the
People's Party. Number 1 is the leader of the People's Party
Tigran Karapetian, number 2 is the chairman of the party's
political board Artak Harutyunian, and number 3 is the dean of
Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University's Medical-Biological
Department Hrachik Vardapetian.
