Greco-Roman wrestling team formed by results of Armenia's
championship

YEREVAN, JANUARY 19, NOYAN TAPAN. The Greco-Roman Wrestling
Championship of Armenia was held at Cilicia Stadium on January
16-18. Shavigh Gevorgian (55 kg, city of Gyumri), Roman Amoyan
(60 kg, Yerevan), Khosrov Melikian (66 kg, Gyumri), Arsen
Julfalakian (74 kg, Yerevan), Arthur Shahinian (84 kg,
Etchmiadzin), Arman Geghamian (96 kg, Akhurian) and Vachik
Yeghiazarian (heavy-weight, Yerevan) became the champions.
By the results of the championship, a national team was
formed. It will train for participation in the World Cup to be
held in France on February 19-22.
