1in.am  Taking into account the mass attacks by the adversary against our cities, the intensity of which is increasing and is clearly expected to increase further, it is time to openly declare that there are no longer any rules regarding Nazi Kyiv, nor can there be. This was stated on June 20 by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, as reported by TASS. What does the phrase «there are no longer any rules regarding Kyiv, nor can there be» mean? There is no need for «translation»: it refers to the «necessity» of mass missile strikes on Ukraine's «decision-making centers», more simply put, the physical elimination of Volodymyr Zelensky and the top military and intelligence officials.

 

This threat was voiced by Medvedev at a time when Moscow is awaiting the visit of the U.S. President's special representative, Witkoff, while the British The Economist has reported that Ukraine and the United States are discussing «the possibility of establishing a ceasefire along the existing front line». It seems that the highest leadership of Russia has been «informed about this through diplomatic channels», and Medvedev has been tasked with creating «ground to reject Trump's proposal».

 

Ukrainian sources from Unian have expressed the opinion that Vladimir Putin «will not agree to a ceasefire until October». Ukrainian diplomats in Washington have «understood from their contacts that Putin plans to support Trump in the Congressional midterm elections, hoping that if he wins, he will increase pressure on Zelensky».

 

How credible is the information that the «Ukrainian diplomats» have in Washington? Other sources have not yet denied or confirmed it. It is no secret that Moscow supported Trump in the U.S. presidential elections. There is a high probability that this support will continue in the Congressional midterm elections. The issue is that the Ukrainian arrangement, which even ASEAN countries have recognized in the declaration resulting from the summit with the Russian Federation, acknowledges the UN Charter as the legal basis for conflict resolution.

 

To whom is Medvedev's threat addressed? It is clear. The subtext of his statement is the «abolition of rules» regarding Europe. Earlier, he declared that «instilling monstrous fear in Europe» is a means of Ukrainian settlement. Russia «rejects» the ceasefire in Ukraine; is a pan-European war expected?
