TWO ARMENIAN SPORTSMEN COMPTETE AT 9th WORLD SWIMMING

YEREVAN, APRIL 9, NOYAN TAPAN. 9th World Swimming
Championship is being held in Manchester on April 9-16. Armenia
is represented by Mikael Koloyan, who will take part in 50, 100-
and 200-meter freestyle, and Harutyun Harutyunian to compete in
50-meter swimming race. The chief coach of the team is Misak
Gabrielian. The chairman of the Swimming Federation of Armenia
Igor Safarian also left for Manchester to participate in a
congress of the International Swimming Federation there.
