MORELIA, FEBRUARY 18, NOYAN TAPAN. Three tours have been held in the International Chess Supertournament in the city of Morelia, Mexico. Levon Aronian was defeated by Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria), beat world champion Vishvantan Anand (India), and drew the game with Teymur Rajabov (Azerbaijan). Veselin Topalov is the tournament's leader with 2.5 points. V. Anand follows him with 2 points. And L. Aronian, Vasili Ivanchuk (Ukraine), and Peter Leko (Hungary) share the 3-5th places with 1.5 points each. February 18 is announced a rest day in the tournament. In the fourth tour to be held on February 19 L. Aronian will compete with Vasili Ivanchuk with the blacks.
