YEREVAN, OCTOBER 9, NOYAN TAPAN. The international tender to choose the concession manager of the Armenian railway will be held on October 15. Two companies: the Russian Railway and a big Indian company have submitted bids for participation in the tender, the RA minister of transport and communication Andranik Manukian told reporters on October 9. He said that the manager of the Armenian railway will be announced on December 15 and will start performing its duties from January 15, 2008. It was stated that the manager has to make investments of 170 million dollars in the railway.
