RECONTRUCTION WORK OF TWO GREAT EXHIBITION CHAMBERS OF
UNION OF ARMENIAN PAINTERS TO BE FINISHED BY END OF YEAR

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, NOYAN TAPAN. The reconstruction work
of the two great exhibition chambers of the Union of Armenian
Painters will be finished by the end of the year. The
construction is being implemented by the "Rengema" construction
organization under mutually beneficial circumstances.
According to the information provided to a Noyan Tapan
correspondent by Karen Aghamian, the Chairman of the Union of
Armenian Painters, according to the contract, the total surface
of the two exhibition chambers will make 860 square kilometers
instead of 620 after the reconstruction. In his words, the
exhibition chamber of the ground floor is envisaged for the
exhibition of pictorial, and that of the first floor for graphic
works.
Karen Aghamian also declared that the union will organize
various exhibitions after the reconstruction. "The doors of the
union will be open for all the painters. Here the works of not
only senior and middle generation, but also those of beginners
will be exhibited," Karen Aghamian mentioned.
