The game between grand master Levon Aronian and Wishvanatan Anand (India) ended in a draw. the same can be said for the Leko - Svidler game. Kramnik was defeated by Morozevich, and Gelfand by Grishchuk. Wishvanatan Anand is in the lead of the tournament table with 6 points after 9 stages. Gelfand has 5, Kramnik, Grishchuk, and Leko 4.5 each, Aronian and Morozevich 4 each, and Svidler 3.5 points. Aronian will compete with Grishchuk with the whites at the tenth stage.
