ARMENIAN FOOTBALL NATIONAL TEAM'S COACH PASSES AWAY

LONDON, SEPTEMBER 12, NOYAN TAPAN. Ian Porterfield
(Scotland), the Armenian football national team's coach, passed
away on September 11 in London, at the age of 61.
He has much contribution in the issue of Armenian national
team's progress: headed by Porterfield, the Armenian national
team defeated the national team of Almati in Kazakhstan, and
that of Poland in Yerevan. He arrived in Yerevan in a grave
health condition and headed the Armenian football players' game
with the Portuguese national team, which ended with the score of
1 to 1.
