YEREVAN, APRIL 20, NOYAN TAPAN. The average number of economically active population in Armenia made 1 mln 170.2 thousand people in January-February. 92.8% or 1 mln 085.6 thousand of them were engaged in the economy. 84.6 thousand people having no job were registered at the RA Employment Service agency of the RA Ministry of Labour and Social Issues and got status of unemployed. According to data of the RA National Statistic Service, women made 71.9% of those unemployed. This index grew 1.1% as if compared with the same period of time of the previous year. 1433 vacancies were presented by employers in February, 1128 of which were for workers, 305 for servicemen, 141 for doctors, 19 for pedagogues. 1007 people found job from the beginning of the year.
