YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 20, NOYAN TAPAN. A-319 plane of the Sibir
aitrline was on a Yerevan-Moscow flight 906 over the territory of
Georgia when the undercarriage fold opened, as a result of which
the crew had to choose a nearby airport for landing. NT
correspondent was informed by spokeswoman for the RA Civil
Aviation Department Head Gayane Davtian that the crew decided
to land at Yerevan's Zvartnots Airport instead of nearby airports
of Tbilisi or Minvody since planes can be examined by Sabina
Technic company (Belgium) at Zvatrnots.
The plane made a landing at Zvartnots Airport, after which
the passengers flew to Moscow in another plane of the same
airline - TU-154.
