YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 21, NOYAN TAPAN. A telethon will take place on December 3 in Los Angeles, the goal of which is to support parentless children and orphanage children living in Armenia. As it was mentioned in the report submitted to Noyan Tapan, the telethon is organized by Hovhannes Balayan, editor of Los Angeles' Kaj Nazar monthly and TV hour. For 7th time New Year charity events will be held in Armenia jointly with the Armenian State Philharmony through the telethon's fund raisings. It is envisaged that more than 20 thousand Armenian children will take part in Christmas events to be held in 2007. The festive events will take place at A.Khachatrian and A.Babajanian concert halls, at all Armenian orphanages and old people's homes.
