JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OF ARMENIA STUDENTS TAKE PART IN
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN KAZAKHSTAN

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 9, NOYAN TAPAN. It is the second year the
Junior Achievement of Armenia's students take part in the
educational programs held for Junior Achievement international
organization's branches in CIS countries. This year two best
students, Ani Simonian (Nor Kharberd school N 1) and Naira
Mkhitarian (Etchmiadzin school N 4) included in the Armenian
organization's Business Ethics program also took part in the
seminar-conference held on October 27-28 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
As NT correspondent was informed by organization's
Executive Director Armine Hovhannisian, representatives of
Georgia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan,
Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan also participated in the conference.
In her words, lectures were given, meetings with well-known
businessmen were organized during the conference. Besides, an
activity called Global Business Village was held, during which
students of various nationalities were asked to present their
national business practices.
"Given the realities of today's business world, we think it
is imperative to teach students not only how to start and manage
their business but also to be aware of business ethical
standards," A.Hovhannisian said.
