YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 22, NOYAN TAPAN. The second international Armagroforum started its work in Yerevan on September 22. Representatives of various Armenian agricultural organizations, food industry and other sectors, as well as officials from a number of international organizations (UN Food and Agriculture Organization, US Department of Agriculture, UNDP and the World Bank) are participating in the event. During the two-day forum held by the RA Ministry of Agriculture, the working groups will discuss problems of agricultural production technologies, agriculatural processing and food production, import-related problems, and issues of the sphere's development prospects and international cooperation. Within the framework of the forum, a conference will take place at the Armenian state agricultural academy with the participation of rectors of several agricultural universities of CIS and Eastern European countries.
