On June 9, in the UN headquarters, the letter of RA permanent representative Ambassador Karen Nazaryan was spread which refer to the anti-Armenian steps taken by Azerbaijan in the UNO. Ambassador Nazaryan asked General Secretary Ban Ki-Moon to pay attention to the continuing anti-Armenian propaganda by Azerbaijan. At the same time, RA permanent representative mentioned in the letter addressed to the General Secretary that under the background of importance of the agenda of the 65th session of the General Assembly, the fact, according to which Azerbaijan misapplies the circumstance of being a member of the UNO by using any chance to spread misinformation about Armenia and Nagorno-Kharabakh, is really disappointing. Ambassador Nazaryan noted that the statements which refer to the strengthening of the cease-fire and the back of snipers on the contact line by the UN General Secretary, the OSCE Chairman, leaders of Minsk group co-chair countries and those of the European Union, are ignored in Azerbaijan. Ambassador Nazaryan hoped that Azerbaijan will pay attention to the negotiation process within the frames of OSCE Minsk group instead of spreading groundless and provocative letters. According to the press release of RA MFA Press, Information and Public Relations Department Ambassador Nazaryan summed up his letter noting that Armenia has always acted for the peaceful settlement of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh. This has repeatedly been proved by its practical steps.
