YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 15, NOYAN TAPAN. The play "Monsieur Amilcar" by Yves Jamiaque is re-staged at the Yerevan Hrachia Ghaplanian Dramatic Theater of the Mayor's Office, this time under a new title, "Paid Illusion". As Guzh Manukian, the producer and leading performer of the performance, the RA People's Artist mentioned in the interview to the Noyan Tapan correspondent, Levon Tukhikian was the leading performer of this play staged many years ago. The performance has been left out of the theater repertoire for a long time, but this was again re-staged and presented to public with a new actors' staff and new apporaches. According to Guzh Manukian, though staging of a performance is a too responsible affair, the situation was just another in the case of this performance: Not only to act but also to observe how partners act." According to the actor, every performance has its difficulty but 6-members actors' company was able to overcome all difficulties. The performer finds that the material of the performance is too modern, especially for young generation. A tragedy of a person who lost beleif towards sencere humane relations is in the basis of the performance. The main hero of the performance, Alexander Amilcar attempts to create family hapiness for himself by paid actors but soon understands that "hapiness isn't an illusion, and this will be acquired and not by money with the means of play of paid actors." "Every actor who undertakes any role, should completely realize that obligation. I like both role and hero. There are nice comparisons of woderful dialogues, romantics and seriousness in the play which create dramatic and emotional situations in the performance," Guzh Manukian emphasized.
