YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 14, NOYAN TAPAN. 3 Armenian weight-lifters have already performed in the world championship of weight-lifting being held in Doha, the captial of Qatar. Armen Ghazarian and Artur Danielian took the 4th and 7th places, respectively, in the 69 kg weight category. Hovhannes Amreyan (77 kg weight category) failed to lift the preliminary weight and was left out of the competition. Two more Armenian weight-lifters, Arsen Melikian and Tigran Martirosian (85 kg weight category) will perform on November 14 and Ashot Danielian (the highest category) will perform on the last day of the championship.
