"ARMENIA IS MY HOMELAND" SECOND REPUBLIC YOUTH FESTIVAL TO
START IN YEREVAN ON JUNE 1

YEREVAN, MAY 25, NOYAN TAPAN. On June 1, the International
Day of Children's Protection, the "Armenia is my Homeland"
Second Republic Youth Festival will start in Yerevan.
As Lilit Asatrian, the RA Deputy Minister of Culture and
Youth Issues informed the Noyan Tapan correspondent, the goal of
the festival is to support to the patriotic education of young
people, securing and spreading of the national values.
A compatition of chalk-paintings will take place on the
Freedom Square on the opening day of the festival, then a
march from the Freedom Square to the "Moscow" theatre will be
held. Within the framework of a conference titled "Youth, Problems,
Progress and Prospects" will take place on June 17-19, in which
young people from Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora will
participate.
The closing of the festival will take place on November 10,
the International Day of Youth.
