VACCINATION AGAINST FALSE BIRD PLAGUE TO BE COMPLETED UNTIL

YEREVAN, JANUARY 10, NOYAN TAPAN. Grisha Baghian, head of
the RA State Veterinary Inspection, denied the information of
the Progressive Party of Armenia that a turkey died from bird
flu in the village of Hovtashat in Ararat marz. He said that a
case of "false bird plague", which caused the death of several
birds, was recently revealed in that village.
The inspection head told NT correspondent that the
vaccination of poultry against this disease in the peasant farms
of the Armenian villages bordering with Turkey will be completed
until January 20, while the vaccination througout Armenia will
be carried out until the end of January.
