YEREVAN, JANUARY 10, NOYAN TAPAN. Razmik Sargsian who has
been on a hunger strike since August 12 2005 and is charged with
a murder, ended the hunger strike on January 9. He made this
decision in consideration of the appeal of the society, lawyers,
his friends Musa Serobian and Arayik Zalian. According to
lawyers, after recovering R.Sargsian will make a special
statement for journalists.
To recap, servicemen Razmik Sargsian, Musa Serobian and
Arayik Zalian are charged with murdering Movses Mkrtumian and
Roman Yeghiazarian, servicemen of a military unit located in the
village of Mataghis, NKR Martakert region, but they deny the
charge. At present their appeal complaint is being examined at
RA Appeal Court on Criminal and Military Cases.
