MOSCOW, DECEMBER 12, NOYAN TAPAN. Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested a person suspected of committing an attempt upon Armenian parliament deputy Tigran Arzakantsian's life. As the RIA Novosti agency reports referring to a source in the law enforcement bodies, as a result of investigation measures an unemployed citizen having previous conviction was detained for a crime committed with mercenary motives. The accessory to the crime is being searched for at present. Nothing is reported about the identity of the detained person and the other details of the operation in the interests of the investigation. It should be mentioned that T. Arzakantsian was injured on September 26 at the Metropol Moscow casino. Two non-identified persons attacked him, one of them stabbed him with a knife, the other injured with fire-arms.
