ARCH ART FESTIVAL OF CLASSIC AND VANGUARD ART BEING HELD IN
YERAVAN FOR FIRST TIME

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 28, NOYAN TAPAN. The Arch Art Union
jointly with the Narekatsi Art Union organizes the first Arch
Art Festival of classic and vanguard art in Yerevan from
November 26 to December 5. As Levon Ivanian, the director of the
Arch Art Fund, informed the Noyan Tapan correspondent, within the
framework of the festival genre concerts, collective exhibitions
will be organized in Aram Khachatrian concert hall, Komitas
Chamber Music House, Narekatsi Art Center, films will be shown
as well as auction-action of works of young painters dedicated
to the International Day of the Disabled will be held.
According to L. Ivanian, the goal of the festival is to
bring to light those branches of art which are the pivot of the
state national culture, by which it will be possible to take
part in achievements of the world culture. "Representatives of classic
and vanguard art always represent the country in international
arena in contrast to famous names of pastime business who rarely
represent the national culture in the international arena," said
Levon Ivanian.
It was also mentioned that within the framework of the
festival a fund raising will be implemented for developing the
Yerevan and Shushi centers of the Narekatsi Art Union.
