YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, NOYAN TAPAN. The drawing of lots of the group tournament of the qualification stage of the 2010 World Football Cup Tournament took place in the city of Durban, South Africa. In order to make the baskets the FIFA was lead by the new classification list of the national representative teams. The Armenian national representative field was included in the fifth group. They will compete with the teams of Estonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium, Turkey and Spain. The 53 UEFA member countries were divided into 9 groups. The winners of the group tournament will gain a pass for the final of the World Cup Tournament. And 8 out of the 9 teams taking second place will be divided into 4 couples and will raffle the 4 passes left according to olympic contest rules. The national team of Armenia will compete with the football players of Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first time. In the FIFA's list of new classification published on November 23 the Armenian national teams has descended from the 82nd to the 90th place. The leading triple is composed of the combined teams of Argentina, Italy and Brazil.
