NEGATIVE BALANCE OF MIGRATION GROWS BY 63.4% IN ARMENIA IN
FIRST TEM MONTHS OF 2007 ON SAME PETRIOD OF LAST YEAR

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 22, NOYAN TAPAN. In January-October 2007,
the negative balance of migration made 42.3 thousand people in
Armenia, which exceeds by 16.4 thousand or 63.4% the index of
the same period of 2006. In 2007, a positive balance of
migration was registered in June, July and October, making
9,600, 4,900, and 8,000 people respectively, NT correspondent
was informed by Victor Solakhian, chief expert of the migration
programs unit of the migration agency of the RA ministry of
territorial governance. According to him, passenger flows are
growing year by year. In January-October of this year, the
passenger flow made 2 million 137 thousand people, which is more
by 549 thousand or 34.5% as compared with the same period of
2006.
