There are ideological similarities between Armenian National Congress and the current authority. The head of RA National Assembly “Heritage” party Styopa Safaryan expressed this point of view during the meeting with the journalists on June 7, adding that there is only one difference. One of the forces is in the field of authority and the other one is in the opposition. According to him, if the sides come to agreement and overcome the atmosphere of mistrust as a result of the dialogue on the separation of the authority, it isn’t excluded that ANC and the authority will take part in the next parliamentary election by one united alliance. “If there are so many similarities, so why being in the same alliance or in the same authority should be contraindicated", he said. According to the head of “Heritage” party, the frames of ANC’s demands were coordinated with the authority. The issue of political prisoners isn’t solved in the country, as, according to S. Safaryan, the judges who passed a political sentence haven’t been punished and “political prisoner” phenomenon isn’t eradicated in the country. He also noted that “the solution of the issue of extraordinary election” and the formation of a new authority continue to remain in the agenda of “Heritage”.
