At the sitting of Armenian-Kuwaiti inter-governmental sitting which took place on October 5 in Yerevan the agreement on air communication between the two countries was signed. According to that agreement Armenia and Kuwait will be connected with direct flights, the embassies will open in the two countries, Kuwait will support the building of Armenia-Iran railway. The co-chairs of the committee, the RA Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan and the Finance Minister of Kuwait Mustafa Jasem Al- Shamali informed the journalists about it after the sitting. It was also decided that for infolving foreign investments and promoting Armenia-Kuwait economic relations Armenian development agency in Kuwait will hold business advertising campaign in November 2011, in frames of which the businessmen of those countries will present the investment programs referring to economy, meetings will take place with a number of companies of Kuwait from the fields of agriculture, food procession, energy, pharmaceuticals and tourism.
