Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan Train Carried 6173 Passengers from June 15 to July 15

6173 passengers have been transported for the first month of running the brand train "Armenia" of CJSC "South Caucasian Railway" in Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan route. This figure is 27% higher than the data in 2011 when 4848 passengers were transported for the period from June 15 to July 15. At the same time passengers of Yerevan-Batumi train were 3804 people which is 15% higher than last year. In the opposite direction CJSC "SCR" has transported 2369 passengers, more than in 2011 by 53%. It should be noted that the average population of the trains during the specified period was 21 people per car which is 62% higher than last year when the average population was 13 people per car. All in all, in the period from 1 June to 15 July 14,117 tickets were sold for "Armenia" brand train which is 9% above last year's figure of 13,861 tickets. Moreover, from the sold tickets in 2012, 11,875 tickets were sold at the box offices of SCR, and the 2242 tickets in the box offices of the Georgian Railway. Most tickets have been sold in Yerevan - 10 335. 729 tickets were sold in Vanadzor, 646 tickets in Gyumri and 112 tickets in Armavir.
