ARTASHAT, MAY 11, NOYAN TAPAN. A new fruit processing conveyor of Artashat cannery of Artfood company was put into opration on May 11. The ceremony was attended by NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamian, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia party Gagik Tsarukian, NA deputies, government members, and businessmen. The press service of the government reported that the NA speaker and the prime minister toured the cannery and became acquainted with its equipment and goods. T. Sargsyan said that the new conveyor will create new opportunities and considerably increase the purchase of agricultural products, which naturally will contribute to the development of agriculture. "I am glad that having discussed this project and the situation at the enterprise during the crisis, the government's operative staff chose a correct strategy which was approved by the president, the speaker of the National Assembly, and the government. I am sure that the Armenian consumer will appreciate the investments made," the prime minister said.
