YEREVAN, MARCH 5, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. Early in the morning of March 4, a subversive group of 5-6 armed men penetrated from Azerbaijan into the territory of Armenia, near the village of Kot in Tavush marz. According to the Information and PR Department of the RA Ministry of Defence, the group members committed robberies and stole farm animals. As a result of special measures taken by the Armenian side, the group was rendered harmless, the Azerbaijani side had casualties. The body of one victim was found in the territory of Armenia, another saboteur died while being taken to hospital, presumably the third body is in the neutral zone. The other members of the subversive group were wounded, but they managed to escape and cross the border. The Armenian side did not sustain casualties.
