YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 20, NOYAN TAPAN. Armenian authorities
should conduct a policy of small and effective steps in the
issue of improvement of Armenian-Turkish relations, chairman of
the Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA) Aram Sargsyan said at the
February 20 press conference. In his words, some activity in
terms of improvement in the relations between two countries has
been recently observed, and there are some expectations in this
respect.
He said that Armenia's relations with Turkey were at a zero
level for a long time so would be wrong to "receive them with
open arms at once". Besides, in the opinion of A. Sargsyan, no
one can predict the consequences of further steps.
