NON-FOOD COMMODITY PRICES FALL BY 0.1% IN ARMENIA IN

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 2, NOYAN TAPAN. The slight fall (0.1%) of
prices in the Armenian non-food commodity market in September on
August 2008 was affected somewhat by the fall in prices of
gasoline (1.9%) and diesel fuel (1.3%).
According to the RA National Statsitical Service, prices of
jewelry, horticultural items, and fuel fell by 0.1-4.8% in
Armenia in September on August 2008. Prices of furniture,
textiles, domestic electric appliances, stationery, cosmetics,
clothing, fabrics, building materials, detergents, footwear,
cultural goods and kitchen utensils grew by 0.1-2.1%. Prices of
carpets and medicines remained at the previous month's level.
