YEREVAN, JANUARY 23, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. For the first time Armenia will be represented by pop singer Andre at the "Eurovision-2006" international musical festival to be held in Athens. Andre was recognized the best singer of 2004-2005. In "Eurovision" Andre will sing Armen Martirosian's song "Stay with Me" in English. To recap, last year the Public Television of Armenia became a member of the Union of European Broadcasters, after which it received an invitation to take part in the festival. Armenia became the 38th country participating in the "Eurovision."
