From September 22 to 26, the "Gituj" initiative invites you to participate in the third nationwide "Science Week: Armenia" with the message "The researcher lives in each of us." In Yerevan and the regions, children, families, and all curious individuals can look forward to stargazing, scientific experiments, games, film screenings, and meetings with science.
The program includes booklets with scientific and engineering tasks for schools and kindergartens, interesting competitions with valuable prizes, museum events, online games, and podcasts about science. Screenings of the "Stories of Innovation in Armenia" film series will take place, and the "Beyond the Horizon" science fiction story competition will be summarized. A new addition this year is the "Little Astronaut" board game created jointly by "Gituj" and "Aylkerp" for children aged 4 and up.
-The future of Armenia also depends on how much we encourage question-asking, experimenting, and solution-seeking individuals today. With Science Week, we want to bring this opportunity to every school, kindergarten, and family. Our goal is for this curiosity to continue throughout the year, and for science to occupy a larger place in our daily lives and in our decisions about the future of Armenia. Last year, over 350 schools and kindergartens participated in our events, and we had more than 35,000 visitors at the festival, - notes Gevorg Safaryan, a member of the "Gituj" initiative and founder of "LimeTech" and "Earlyone" companies.
The Science Week program is joined by the "European Researchers' Night in Armenia" ERNA festival organized by the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, with "Gituj" as the main partner. The festival will kick off on September 25 at 5:00 PM at 24 Baghramyan Street, in the territory of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, and will conclude on September 26 at 9:00 PM.
The supporters of Science Week are the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia and the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. The technological partner is Team Telecom Armenia, and the scientific intellectual partner is PMI Science Armenia.
