The 24th International Festival of Performing Arts "Hay Fest" will take place in Yerevan from October 1-8, and this year it is held under the title "Festivally Yours!"
The festival will feature participants from 11 countries, including China, Italy, the USA, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Romania, Russia, the Netherlands, and more, with the number of participants exceeding 200. It will kick off with the aerial performance "Cosmic Journey."
The festival is organized with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and the Yerevan City Hall.
For the first time in the region, the HFPAM (HIGH FEST Performing Arts Market) international regional market for performing arts will be launched, which is expected to host up to 30 foreign experts, leaders, and representatives of international festivals. The three-day program will also include representatives from several Armenian theaters, providing them the opportunity to present their activities and projects to foreign specialists.
This year's program includes foreign performances such as "Cosmic Journey" by the "Luca Pialli" company (Italy), "Pothos" by the "Gaspar and Dancers" company (USA), "The Story of One Photograph" by the State Theater of Nations (Russia), and "A Brief History of Counterculture" by the (Ri)but Theater Group (Portugal), among others.
